Mark Curriden
Mark Curriden is a lawyer, journalist, and founder of The Texas Lawbook, as well as a contributing legal correspondent for The Houston Chronicle and Dallas Business Journal. He is the award-winning author of Contempt of Court, which received the American Bar Association’s Silver Gavel Award.
A former legal affairs writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Dallas Morning News, Mark has covered major national litigation and the U.S. Supreme Court, and his investigative reporting has led to congressional hearings, wrongful conviction reversals, and federal criminal prosecutions.
He has been a senior contributing writer for the ABA Journal for more than 25 years, earning numerous national honors for legal journalism. Mark is also a frequent speaker at legal conferences and previously served as senior communications counsel at Vinson & Elkins.
