Krista Torralva

Krista Torralva is a veteran legal reporter who covers pro bono, public service, and diversity for the Texas Lawbook Foundation. With a career spanning more than ten years, Krista has documented some of the most significant legal battles in the region, from high-profile criminal trials to landmark civil litigation.

Previously a courts reporter for The Dallas Morning News, Krista’s reporting has been recognized by the State Bar of Texas’ Gavel Awards and the Texas Association of Press Managing Editors. At the Foundation, she serves as a vital link between the legal community and the public, highlighting the attorneys and firms dedicated to bridging the justice gap in Texas. Krista is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Criminal Justice.
